Experience
Brown has served the Riverside Community College District for over 20 years, first as the Director of Accounting Services then as the Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance. Brown presently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Business and Financial Services. Brown co-chairs the Board of Trustees: Planning and Operations Committee, Resources Committee, and Facilities Committee; he chairs the Bond Task Force, District Budget Advisory Council (DBAC), Budget Allocation Model Task Force and is a member of multiple councils and committees within the district and community. Brown earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton and has continuously held an active Certified Public Accounting license since 1988. Prior to coming to Riverside Community College District, Brown worked at several local public accounting firms, performing auditing and consulting services for Community Colleges, K-12, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies. At present, he lives with his family in Hemet where he has resided for the past 30 years.
