RCCD Board of Trustees Recognizes October as Manufacturing Month California

​National Manufacturing Day occurs the first Friday of every October where manufacturers open their doors, showcase the potential of modern manufacturing and foster interest in manufacturing careers. Manufacturing Day 2022 will officially be observed at the national level on Friday, October 7. However, manufacturing in California is too big for a single day. As many RCCD programs align with and support the broad and diverse manufacturers in the region, the RCCD Board of Trustees passed a resolution at the Board Committee Meeting on October 3, announcing that the District and its colleges will embrace and celebrate 'Manufacturing Month California' in October 2022.
