Cu​rriculum Proposal ​& Approval Process

The Office of Curriculum Support provides expertise and support regarding the California Community College and Riverside Community College District (RCCD) curriculum development, review and approval processes.  The primary responsibility for RCCD curriculum lies with its faculty and is governed by RCCD Board policies, Education Code, and Title 5. 

RCCD's curriculum originates with faculty members and is reviewed by the discipline, academic department, college and district curriculum committees, the RCCD's Chancellor Cabinet, ​the RCCD Board of Trustees, and the California Community College Chancellor's Office.
