Helping Veterans Pursue Their Dreams
RCCD welcomes our veterans, reservists and dependents of veterans who are deceased or disabled. We are proud to assist you in securing your Veterans' Educational Benefits so you can start pursuing a new career, developing existing or new skills or resume your education.
Once the Veteran's Administration has determined your eligibility for benefits, an RCCD counselor will help you select an appropriate Program of Study, which is required by the VA, and help chart your progress in completing your goals.
Veterans are eligible for priority registration for four years after being discharged from active duty.
If you are called to active duty after enrolling in classes, you will be allowed to drop your classes, get a refund for fees and books and receive an MW (Military Withdrawal) on your transcript. An MW is not counted in calculating your probation or dismissal status.
For further information contact the Veterans Services office or representative at the college you will be attending.
