The Annual Recognition Awards reflect notable contributions made by alumni and friends of the colleges and the community. Riverside Community College District invites you to nominate outstanding individuals for recognition.

In Spring 2012, the District family and community will gather in celebration to recognize the award recipients.  Specific criteria for each award are presented in our online brochure.  Click to download a nomination form.

Award categories include: RCCD Alumnus of the Year, Moreno Valley College Young Alumnus of the Year, Norco College Young Alumnus of the Year, Riverside City College Young Alumnus of the Year, and Distinguished Public Service Award.

Past Alumni of the Year include Chester A. Carlson (inventor of the Xerox process), Justice John Gabbert, artist Mine’ Okubo, Senator Robert Presley, Rear Admiral Allen E. Hill (U.S. Navy, Ret.), Assemblyman William Emmerson, Supervisor Marion Ashley, among many others.

Distinguished Public Service recipients include Marcia McQuern, Henry W. Coil, Jr., Jamil Dada, Judge Victor Miceli, Jane Carney, Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff, Lou Monville, and Supervisors Bob Buster and John Tavaglione.
