LA84 FOUNDATION
The purpose of this program is to expand the youth sports opportunities in Southern California. The LA84 Foundation is endowed with a significant portion of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic surplus and is geared toward helping youths who are not at the Olympic level, develop sports and competition skills.
Proposals are accepted at any time on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep in mind that the Board of Directors meets three times per year and it takes months to process an application. For time-sensitive and seasonal sports:

WEINGART FOUNDATION: REGULAR GRANT PROGRAM (SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA) - FY 2010
The purpose of this program is to support nonprofit organizations working in the areas of health, human services, and education. Highest priority is given to activities benefiting the economically disadvantaged and underserved, specifically activities addressing the needs of low-income children, youth, older adults, and people affected by disabilities and homelessness.
Regular Grant Program grant requests are accepted throughout the year with no deadlines. There are three specifically designed on-line Letter of Inquiry forms: (1) core, (2) capital, and (3) general LOI form for capacity building and program requests.
Small Grant Program ($25,000 or less) - No LOI required.
